Restaurant Brands
International
I joined RBI the day the world shut down.
Three global brands — Burger King, Popeyes, and Tim Hortons — with over 100 million user sessions a month between them, and almost overnight, ordering through an app stopped being a convenience and became the only way a lot of people could get food safely.
Fast food had never felt essential before. Suddenly, it was.
Mocks and prototypes across all three brands, plus the offer CMS behind them.
I started by building high-fidelity mocks and prototypes across all three brands, then grew into leading brand-agnostic authentication, acting as design lead and liaison for the Tim Hortons brand, and owning Burger King's international markets. I also got to spearhead a micro-brand's MVP from first idea through to engineering implementation.
Beyond the day-to-day design work, I supported other designers on the team and led initiatives in our CMS and franchisee portal, working closely with our engineering lead to design around the real technical limitations of point-of-sale hardware — a constraint healthcare software never had to teach me.
